If the camera seems to switch itself off as soon as you turn it on, or does not appear to be recording, turn the power switch to off, remove the SD card, reinsert it and turn the camera back on. It should now be reset.

To find the SD card, open the camera and look on the left hand side. The card is in a slot on the side. To remove it, press the card and release. It should spring out. To reinsert, place the card back in the slot and push until it clicks in place.
